Problem Statement:
Design a user-centric mobile application interface for electric vehicle (EV) charging and parking, aiming to enhance the user experience in a sustainable and efficient manner. The challenge is to create an innovative solution that seamlessly integrates charging station location services, a smooth charging experience, and smart parking functionalities.
Guidelines:
Assume that user has already onboarded over the platform and you need not to cover the entire onboarding flow.
Prioritize user needs, preferences, and pain points throughout the app's final hi-fi designs.
Offer a clean and intuitive user interface with easy navigation to ensure a seamless user experience. Choose a platform (iOS/Android) to base your product on and make sure your designs honor the platform guidelines.
Ensure that the end-to-end journey is covered (considering all possible use cases), for the first time and repeat users.
Final submission should be understood enough by your presentation of the solution of above given problem statement.
Deliverables:
Develop an intuitive and feature-rich charging station locator, providing real-time information on station availability, types, charging speeds, and payment methods.
Design a user interface for initiating and monitoring the charging process, incorporating features such as remote monitoring, notifications, and seamless payment integration.
Integrate a parking solution that allows users to reserve parking spots near charging stations, facilitating a smooth transition from parking to charging.
Implement features that engage and educate users about EV charging etiquette, sustainability impact, and incentives for eco-friendly practices.
Evaluation Criteria:
How well does the design cater to the needs of diverse users in the EV charging and parking context?
To what extent does the solution incorporate innovative features, enhancing the overall user experience?
How seamlessly are the charging and parking functionalities integrated, providing a good experience for users?
Does the design consider accessibility features for users with disabilities and ensure inclusivity?
Comprehensive presentation outlining design decisions, features, and how the solution addresses the specific challenges of EV charging and parking.
